On November 16, 2007, Summit Entertainment announced thatKristen was to interpret the role of Isabella Swan in film film based on the eponymous best-seller written by Stephenie Meyer. Kristenfilming Adventureland when director Catherine Hardwicke visited thestudio and was "captivated" the way they play. Kristen plays with Robert Pattinson, who plays him Edward Cullen, a vampire who falls in love with Bella. Filming began in February 2008 and ended in May 2008. In March 2009 they started filming the second part of the filmTwilight (Twilight), entitled New Moon that ended on May 29, the same year. Also a successful film was The Messengers in 2007where she played Jessica, trying to make her parents understandthat something is happening at home.
